The LAS JPPE is published biannually, with editions released in the winter and summer semesters. These releases may happen at any point during these semesters, but announcements are periodically made on LinkedIn.
We accept a wide range of scholarly work, including research papers, opinion pieces, critical reviews, interviews, and essays written either for academic coursework or independently. Submissions should be well-researched, logically argued, original, and provide meaningful insights within the realms of philosophy, politics, or economics.
While there is no strict word count for submissions, we ask that contributions be concise, with every section contributing to the overall argument. The length should be sufficient to address the topic thoroughly, but brevity and clarity are equally important.
We are an interdisciplinary journal and welcome work that explores philosophical, political, and economic dimensions. If your submission engages with contemporary issues through one or more of these lenses and adds valuable insights, it is likely a good fit for our journal.
All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, where experienced academics evaluate the quality, originality, and relevance of the work. Only submissions that meet our high standards for scholarly excellence will be selected for publication.
Absolutely! We encourage submissions from students around the world, not just those attending LAS. Our goal is to provide a platform for diverse voices and perspectives on global issues.
